Teenage Girl Wins Fastest Texter in America Title

Morgan Pozgar, age 13, of Claysburg Pennsylvania is officially the LG National Texting Champion. After typing the lyrics: “Supercalifragilisticexpialidoucious! Even though the sound of it is something quite atrocious. If you say it loud enough you'll always sound precocious.” in a mere fifteen seconds on the QWERTY keyboard on her LG Vx9800, she took this prized title from…someone. (Not quite sure who held it before, and don’t quite care to find out.) But, dude. Fifteen seconds. Hell, I can’t even type that phrase on the computer in fifteen seconds. Those are some fast fingers. But of course, it is no surprise that it is a teenage girl, since they tend to text message more than any other group of people. In fact, Morgan Pozgar estimates that she sends 8000 text messages a month. I send maybe 15 a month. Well, I guess she has an unlimited text message plan and over 500x as many friends as me. Meh. Not a big loss. And you know what I said about teenage girls being big text messagers? Well, I don’t like to stereotype, but seriously.... Here’s what Pozgar said she’d do with her winnings: “I’m going to go shopping and buy lots of clothes.” Uh. Yeah.
